Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

By accessing or using Aevesa websites, APIs, dashboards, verification portals, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Aevesa provides Agentic Evidence Infrastructure, the Prove layer for agentic AI governance. The Service includes gateway attest ingestion, ledger anchoring, human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows where configured, export of compliance evidence packs (including EU AI Act Art. 12/14-oriented artifacts where applicable), and independent verification through verify.aevesa.com and the open @aevesa/verify tooling.

Aevesa is designed to complement AI gateways, AI-SPM platforms, and customer-operated infrastructure. Unless expressly stated in a signed agreement, Aevesa does not replace your gateway, data-security, or identity vendors.

2. Subscription and Services

Paid tiers (including Operational Shield, Vanguard, Compliance-in-a-Box, The Sovereign, and The Fortress) are offered on recurring or custom enterprise terms as described on our pricing pages or in an order form. The Sandbox tier is a limited self-serve evaluation tier. Production ledger mints may consume anchor credits as described in your plan. Verification at verify.aevesa.com remains available for auditors and third parties as described in your agreement and product documentation.

You may cancel recurring subscriptions through account settings or by contacting team@aevesa.com, subject to any contractual notice periods.

3. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Paid production tiers may require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as a condition of service and for SOC 2 Type II Ready control alignment. Sandbox accounts may enable MFA optionally. By using a tier where MFA is required, you agree to maintain MFA in good standing.

4. Authorized Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only for agent workloads, integrations, and environments you are authorized to govern. You are responsible for configuring policies, HITL routing, and integrations correctly for your regulatory obligations.

You may not attempt to bypass verification, tamper with ledger integrity, abuse public verification endpoints, or use the Service to intercept third-party systems without proper authorization.

5. Public Verification Portal

verify.aevesa.com allows users to paste or load receipt JSON and run client-side or API-assisted integrity checks. Demo and sample receipts are provided for evaluation only. You are responsible for not submitting third-party confidential data to public verification unless you intend to disclose it. Aevesa does not guarantee that every receipt format or third-party export will verify successfully.

6. Third-Party Products and Trademarks

7. Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: AEVESA IS PROVIDED "AS IS." WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT GOVERNANCE CONTROLS, RECEIPTS, OR VERIFICATION WILL PREVENT EVERY POLICY VIOLATION, COMPLIANCE FINDING, OR SECURITY INCIDENT.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aevesa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

Automated recommendations and exports: Policy suggestions, compliance mappings, and automated responses are provided without warranty of fitness for a particular regulatory outcome. You are solely responsible for validating evidence packs and controls before audit, legal, or production reliance.

8. Safety, HITL, and Circuit Breaker Controls

Where enabled, Aevesa may score agent actions, require human approval for high-risk paths, and record outcomes as tamper-evident ledger entries. These mechanisms enhance governance; they do not replace your internal approval policies or regulatory human-oversight obligations.

9. Intellectual Property

The Aevesa name, logos, dashboards, and proprietary Service components are owned by Aevesa. Open specifications (including liability-receipt/v1 and @aevesa/verify) are provided under their published license terms. Your use of the Service does not grant ownership of Aevesa intellectual property.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms infrastructure, other customers, or public verification systems. You may stop using the Service at any time; data handling after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
